“A Seat at the Table” is the most recent photography project from photographer Justin Dingwall’s. South African model Moostapha Saidi is the protagonist in this very colorful art celebration.

A series of images that put perspective and perception as the main focus here. I Lobo Youthinks that this artistic photography compilation is absolutely mesmerizing, and we can’t wait to tell you about its deep meaning.

Moostapha Saidi, the model, was born with a skin condition called vitiligo which causes to the skin a lack pigmentation problem. In a talk with the photographer, Saidi talked about his experiences while living with this condition, and in this photography art, the symbolism goes way deeper than simply the lack of pigmentation.

The images in this artwork look fun, the background sets are simple but with a splash of a color, which contrasts beautifully with the model’s dual-toned skin. Items like precious stones and googly eyes stickers were used in this photography art as a way to demonstrate how the model is objectified by random strangers and how they separate him from “normality” simply because of the way he looks. It’s a beautiful project isn’t it?
