Amazing design * Pablo Reinoso

Pablo Reinoso is an Argentine-French artist and designer who has been working in Paris, since 1979.

Since he was little Pablo was showing its skills when he made his first chair when he was 7-years old. He went on to study Architecture in University of Buenos Aires and began a career in communications and design. His recognition came with his public installations and sculptures, created from traditional materials like metal, stone or wood.

See here the video of his masterpieces:

Reinoso questions the infinity, objects and space, bringing all elements to continuously play with the borders of the impossible. He always takes the road less travelled, exploring the dimensions beyond the limits of our imagination. His endless mockery, conviction and sincerity confront us, forcing the mind to wander.

In the late 90’s he started a commercial direction. It was last year that Reinoso had his first Asian exhibition, at the Art Plural Gallery in Singapore exhibiting 15 sculptures. His catalogue presents artworks ranging from tools to monumental public commissions. Endlessly challenging volume, all principles are his garden, weaving timelessness in a sensual manner. Reinoso masterfully illustrates the frontier between Art and Design, integrating functionality into the dialogues of ingenuity.

The final look is a very  futuristic object looking like stalagmites from a virtual cave, though Cuttance Pablo Reinoso’s works of art and design are presented in international exhibitions such as the Biennale of Venice and Art Basel and Miami Basel.

In May 2013, as part of Le French May, Pablo Reinoso and Art Plural Gallery  jointly presented an exhibition at One Central and Mandarin Oriental, Macau. The exhibition titled ‘Living Sculptures’ features eleven of the designer’s artworks.
