Prepare yourself for a gallery where Anna Bu Kliewer combines realities, time and space and a singular language of art through collage.
She born in Ukraine, but is was raised in Germany. At the age of 19, Anna began travelling the world, living in seven countries, including a couple of years in Cape Town. During that time, she studied Fine Art at Emily Carr University, Vancouver, Canada, and at Central Saint Martins in London.
Currently living and working in London, UK, she works in both analogue and digital collage, creating still and moving art.
Moved by her curiosity she likes to challenge our perception of her art in the identity and environment. Transforming images into a new, surreal context.
Anna’s library of cut out paper pieces has now reached over 20.000 items.
A combination of melancholy and love of beetroots merged with German efficiency and pragmatism. Curious fact: Anna does not enjoy drinking beer nor eating animals.
With a bag of clients like Cartier, Google, Hermès, Vogue, ELLE, New York Times, Sony
Music and so many others it feels right to say that this girl is cool as hell.
