This is the way how Bruce Mau described Barber Osgerby’s work in the foreword to the book The Design Work of Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby in 2011.

 At Maison & Object this duo, Edward Barber e Jay Osgerby, had a small installation featuring six recent projects. One of these projects was a stage set for a drama not yet defined, which it offers many possibilities for interpretation.

 

 

In this same exhibition Barber Osgerby’s create an elegant marriage of the latest technologies and traditional savoir-faire. Bell Lamp is a handcrafted frosted Murano-glass “bell” with four brightness settings surrounds innovative LED lighting. This lamp can placed on any surface because have a ring on its base that’s allows. Bell Lamp can be easily carried anywhere due to a Nomade-leayher strap, whether to the garden, the pool or the wilds.
