Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien founded the internationally renowned Doshi Levien Design Studio. They met at the Royal College of Art and have been working together for over 10 years in their London Studio. Nipa studied design and Jonathan followed Industrial Design.

Nipa and Jonathan complement their work with all of their different skills that makes a perfect match in the way to give sensuality and deep understanding of materials for their products. Nipa is full of visual culture while Jonathan is efficient in industrial precision.
Together they develop a concept of special and innovative design that combines two distinct but complementary approaches to work: Nipa, deeply rooted in Indian culture, and Jonathan, initiated the design of industrial design, celebrate together a cultural hybrid that synthesizes technology, storytelling, industrial design, and crafts.

They have created work for industry leaders Moroso, Kvadrat, B&B Italia, Cappellini, Camper, Swarovski, Galerie Kreo, museums and cultural institutions.
Nipa and Jonathan, in 2008, were awarded the prestigious future legends of design by the Cooper Hewitt National Museum of Design in New York. They have been invited internationally to speak and have important roles at the Royal College of Art. They have permanent works at MOMA, Cooper Hewitt National Museum of Design and important private collections.
Exposing the “Das Haus” project in 2012, they were the guest of honor at IMM Cologne. In 2013 they were invited to curate and design a major exhibition on everyday Indian objects by Grand Hornu images in Belgium.
