The expectations of the fair Art Basel are quite high, as it returns to Europe, in Basel. The Art Basel now in its 47th edition which will be between 16-19 June. This edition will have more than 280 galleries of world leaders showing modern and contemporary art works of 4,000 artists ranging from large modern masters to today’s emerging stars.
In the sector of the main galleries of the fair receives eight new participants in 2016, six of which were previously in the reports or Feature: Apli-Prazan (Paris), Borzo (Amsterdam), International Karma (Zurich, Beverly Hills), Jack Shainman Gallery (New York, Kinderhook), Stevenson (Cape Town, Johannesburg), Barbara Wien (Berlin). Galleries will also include two completely new exhibitors: joségarcía, MX (Mexico DF) and Pace / MacGill Gallery (New York).
In the Statements sector has 18 exhibitors, 7 showing his works for the first time as Johan Berggren Gallery (Malmö), Carroll / Fletcher (London), Selma Feriani Gallery (Sidi Bou Said), production Foxy (New York ) Maisterravalbuena (Madrid), Stereo Gallery (Warsaw) and Simone Subal Gallery (New York).

In the expanded resources sector will have 32 galleries, including 8 new galleries for the show: Bergamin & Gomide (São Paulo), Corbett vs. Dempsey (Chicago), Derek Eller Gallery (New York), Grimm (Amsterdam), Moran Bondaroff (Los Angeles), Sprovieri (London), Van Doren Waxter (New York) and Waldburger Wouters (Brussels).
You will have an installation titled “zome Alloy”, Oscar Tuazon. This is an architectural structure is an updated adaptation of the American inventor, solar engineer, architect, and iconoclastic hippie Steve Baer’s innovative “zome House”, 1972.
