What not to miss at the next Paris Design Week

Need reasons to visit Paris in September? Good, we the perfect suggestion. In September you have the Paris Design Week. The eighth annual Paris Design Week will take place from Thursday 6 to Saturday 15 September 2018.

For that ten days, this event invites French and international professionals and the general public to discover the best showcases of design in Paris, while the leading talents in the discipline gather in the LE OFFexhibition. This event is an itinerary uniting 250 participants that all proudly promote first-rate design in Paris. At a time when new collections are popping up in stores and the new concepts for the autumn season are being launched, the event brings together the talents and forces of retailers, galleries, showrooms, hotels, and restaurants for eight days to share their experience in design and creation with the public.

One of the Top Events taking place during the Paris Design Week is the event Maison et Objet. That’s right, the ultimate lifestyle and design event comes back to Paris with a new challenge, one that seeks to completely overhaul its structure, more specifically its sectors: Maison and Objet. These two sectors will be presented from 7-11 September with a brand-new perspective, improving the journey and experience of visitors and professionals alike during the event.

Maison et Objet Paris is constantly reinventing itself, year after year! I)n every edition, whether it is in January or September, it brings new ideas and inspirations throughout and offer it’s guests a whole new experience! Due to the diversity in the world of interior design, a lot of challenge for specifies take form, and so in order to become easier to scout new ideas and inspirations, Maison et Objet has altered its Maison sector, which will now be divided into four new realms to be explored: Unique & Eclectic, Today, Forever, and Craft. Through this four sectors, Maison et Objet will offer styles and trends just as diverse as ever before, with the assistance of the most exclusive luxury brands within these sectors.

This edition will also feature several luxury exhibitors and we have to highlight the presence of notorious brands like Covet House and PullCast (CH Hall 7 – Stand B52 – C51). The Covet House stand will englobe every brand from The Covet Group so you can expect to find at this stand all the major furniture pieces form this design group.

  • The famous luxury brand Brabbu (BB Hall 6 – Stand H38 – I37);
  • If you are looking for a stunning lighting product for your next Contract Project, then you should take a look at DelightFull (DL Hall 6 | Stand N112 – O111).
  •  Essential Home (DL Hall 6 | Stand N112 – O111), the sister brand of Delightfull. These two brands have been dominating the Lighting and Mid-Century Modern sectors.
