The famous publisher Gestalten launched recently a new interior design book named Kaleidoscope. This new interior design book is all about the eclectic style, it’s an explosion of colors and patterns together.
Avoiding a minimalistic style the book is perfect for a new interior design trend.
For those who like of eccentricity and bold decorations, this new book is a great tool to create an eclectic and luxury decoration.
Sven Ehmann, Robert Klanten, and Victoria Pease collected an eclectic selection of interiors with bold decorations and a mix of colors and patterns.
The Kaleidoscope book by Gestalten as a selection of some great designers but with very different interior designs like for example Rodolphe Parente’s Twin Peaks-inspired Parisian interiors dominated by bare concrete and polished red mahogany, Katie Graham’s 70s florid decoration in a Melbourne house, Marie-Anne Oudejan’s blue-hued Mughal style hotel-bar in Jaipur, all this projects are express in a unique cinematic term.
The vintage trend is combined with a modernist style and colors, neon art and fresh materials like acrylic. The Parisian apartment by Klavs Rosenfalck and Antonio Giuseppe Matiniello’s living and working quarters in Naples are two of the projects that represent very well this mix of colors, textures, styles and materials.
