Design Gallerist presents new minimal elegance and retro vibes canteen in Lisbon.
Deli is a new cafeteria designed by DC.AD of local architecture, offering an all-day service in a clean environment of elegance and retro vibes, located in the historic quarter of Príncipe Real de Lisboa.
Occupying a ground floor space of 25 square meters, with an additional basement level for washbasins and storage, the canteen is minimally decorated with just a row of seats along the side wall, which along with the above mirror and large window overlooking The street, makes space seem organized and airy. Part of the original design of the building, the adjacent viewing window and entrance are framed externally by a marble ledge, a feature that architects have ingeniously replicated inside. Conceived with the same material, but in a more minimalistic way, and having more depth to incorporate a counter along the length of the windows, it remains as a sculptural boundary between the exterior and interior.
