Carl Hansen & Son, modernist Scandinavian, moved from his Manhattan showroom to this edition located on Park Avenue South in the Flatiron District.
The new space on the 13th floor was filled with a loft style with its modernist Scandinavian products.
Thomas Vagner, chairman of Carl Hansen & Son of the Americas, states, “New York is a renowned center for modern design, our timeless aesthetics have been so well received here, perfectly complementing the contemporary and classic interiors.”
The company designed a showroom on a 703 square meter board. It is naturally divided into different areas, in which the team used to delineate the separation of glass walls and framed doors. Projected an environment with whitewashed walls a floor in light tones.
In these glazed partitions, they created rooms in an open way, but which allow the entrance of natural light easily.

Further afield, it has a kitchen, which allows to creates a space for the celebration of events. However, the open-air lounge areas are designed to give the showroom a harmonious environment.
A corner room is dedicated to modernist furniture by Hans J. Wegner, who worked at the beginning of his career.
Closer to the entrance and facing the reception, they have created a space where they show Furniture Contract, where the samples adorn the walls.
Since Wegner’s 100th anniversary, 2014, he has reissued a number of his projects.
Many of these pieces are displayed in the showroom, such as the CH22 living room chair or the Oculus armchair.
