Guedes Cruz ArchitectsIn the town of Cascais, Portugal is where one can find The Wall House, a Swimming in the Air magical 1,100 square metre home designed by Guedes Cruz Architects, José Guedes Cruz, César Marques and Marco Marinho.Guedes Cruz ArchitectsLocated at the Portuguese Riviera in the west of Lisbon, this luxury residence named Wall House is set on the edge of the premier Oitavos Dunes Golf Course, with natural sand dunes and pine trees in the Sintra Cascais National Park.Guedes Cruz ArchitectsInspired by the beauty of the space surroundings Guedes Cruz Arquitectos created a  bold design with sleek lines and elegantly simple interiors. Constructed from concrete, glass and wood, the structure is open to the exterior spaces bringing light and transparency to the inside of the house.This minimalist concept focuses on the natural elements of the surrounding landscape, having a powerful canvas that focus on the magic of the interactions of the human and nature elements. Being water the focus of this project, the different pools make everything feel alive and magical. From the roof pool that make you feel like you are Swimming in the Air, this project is an outstanding representation of modern luxury architecture that varies between air, water and nature itself.
