Today we bring the work of art of Juan Carlos Batista. His contemporary art is inspired in nature, the real and surreal as we often see in his animal-inspired creations.
He has a series of works of art called Bipolar Chronicler where the artist tries to integrate both the sculptures and the photographs. In both disciplines, the duality between the real and the artifice is repeated. In almost all the sculptures there are two clearly differentiated parts, that is, on the one hand, the treetops are built with animals-stuffed animals hardened with polyester, and on the other hand, he tries that the trunks that hold these delirious cups look as much as possible to some real trunks.
“In a tacit way, the ludic can be perceived in all that altered toy store that I have been doing for some years.” – Juan Carlos Batista
