Vulcain contemporary Lamp * Pop sophistication by Pool

Vulcain is a Lamp with a familiar figure. The sophistication lies in the details. The key on the side turns the lamp on and off, whilst the shade diffuses the light through tiny dots laser-cut in the metal.

Vulcain is the contribution to design collective La Chance by Pool, a design studio made up of Léa Padovani and Sebastien Kieffer. Since 2010. These two former collaborators of Noé Duchaufour Lawrance are active members of the ‘nouvelle vague’ in French design. They create graphic objects with imbued richness in the details.
The slightly shorter Vulcain boasts an aluminum finish base and white metal shade, punctuated by a yellow switch key and blue electrical cord. The taller marble model is capped by a copper shade and features a glossy black key and duo-tone black and white cord. Both shades diffuse light via tiny laser-cut dots in the metal. Pop sophistication.
